Storm Drains

Well, did we get enough rain this week?  Its April and we know "April Showers" bring May flowers.  So its not over yet, we can expect more on the way.  Did you have water in your basement?  Was your downspouts overflowing?  Its time to get those storm lines cleaned.  Leaves and debris get into your gutters and go down the spouts and collect in the mouth of the pipe going into the drain causing a 5" drain to narrow to 2" or less.  Heavy rain will not pass through this small opening fast enough and will back up outside or sometimes inside the basement.  This can also cause damages to the foundation.  Get those drains cleaned before the next rain storm.
